La Reina High School & Middle School in Thousand Oaks, CA celebrated Catholic Schools Week recognizing the importance, value and contributions of a Catholic education to the Church and the world at large. Activities included posters, special foods, contests, dancing, free dress and a fundraiser for well water maintenance in the Notre Dame School in Uganda, Africa. Wednesday, the school gathered to celebrate Mass and honor Tamara Harper, 1987 La Reina graduate and former Board Chair, for being named Distinguished Alumna.
There were many fun activities celebrating Catholic Schools Week at NDA in Park Hills, KY before the week was cut short due to bad weather.
