SND USA Leadership Team
The Sisters of Notre Dame of the United States are pleased to share the news of our newly elected 2026-2032 leadership team.
Please keep the new leadership team in your prayers as they remain open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, united in one heart, one hope, and one mission. Join us in welcoming our new team who will assume their duties on July 5, 2026.
Sister Mary Dianne Rumschlag has an extensive background in education throughout Florida, Indiana and Ohio. A native of northwest Ohio, she entered the congregation in Toledo. Sister Dianne most recently served as Head of School at Guardian Catholic School in Jacksonville, Florida.
Sister Patricia Mary Garrahan has served as Provincial Councilor and Treasurer for both the Chardon, OH Province and SND USA. Her outreach is focused on education and senior administration throughout Florida, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Ohio.
Sister Susan Maria Kusz entered religious life in her hometown of Toledo, OH. Her ministry areas include education, serving as a teacher, principal and religion software designer. Most recently Sister Susan has focused on retreat ministry in Ohio, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Sister Marla Monahan was first introduced to the Sisters of Notre Dame while attending Notre Dame Academy in Covington, KY. She has served in education, campus ministry, formation and leadership. In her most recent ministry, Sister Marla was Vicar for Religious in the Diocese of Covington, KY.
Sister Valerie Marie Roxburgh, a native Californian, served on the Los Angeles Provincial Council prior to the formation of SND USA. She has ministered on the Vocation and Young Adult Team in presenting retreats, young adult events and spiritual direction both in California and Ohio.
We are blessed to continue building on the solid foundation laid by Sister Margaret Gorman and her council these past six years (2020-2026).
