Great Saint Ignatius, ardent lover of Christ and loyal knight in God’s service, you turned from the vanities of the world toward the fulfillment of God’s will through intense Gospel living. Help me discern what is essential to follow Christ more closely and find God in all creation. Remove from me what is not useful in extending the Kingdom. With you I courageously pray that God will take all that I have and give me only his love and grace. May I live the Ignatian motto “to the greater glory of God” in a life lived in the freedom of knowing I am always in the “company of Jesus.”
