Transformative Leadership: Dick Williams brings his business savvy to NDA Los Angeles

Notre Dame Academy Los Angeles staff member Dick William was honored with the Transformative Leadership Award by the SND USA National Network and Sponsorship Office. This award “recognizes individuals who are catalysts for growth; inspire hearts; and transform lives of those with whom they minister.”

Dick Williams is a successful businessman that has spent his life making a difference in the lives of others and transforming businesses. From reaching out to the poor to count them in the census, to serving his parish and the school as a deacon, taking care of his family and new granddaughter, successfully restructuring an assisted living in-home care business, or returning to NDA to transform the finance department, Dick makes a positive impact on every person that he serves. As a former parent, Dick believes in the mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame.

Since joining the Notre Dame Academy team four years ago as the director of finance and HR, Dick has transformed the way we handle the finances of the school and how we look into the future. He has updated systems, innovative solutions and employee centered policies and benefits that secure the viability and stability of the school. In his own quiet, thoughtful, methodical and personable way, Dick has transformed the school environment positively. As a lifelong learner, Dick has figured out a way to infuse business approaches with educational best practices to think differently and keep up with changing times. He is a mentor to every leader on this campus.
