Plea to Christ

Dear Lord, I come to You each,
counsel me.
Direct me on what path to go,
that my life’s work will ever show
my love for You.
Dispel the dark, show me Your will,
enlighten me.
Vague is the road that lies before,
I cannot see the distant shore
that leads to Thee.
Give me the grace to heed Your call,
encourage me.
Give me the grace to give my all,
encourage me.
So unresponsive is my heart,
inflame it with a tiny spark,
of love for Three.
