For more than 100 years, we celebrated July 4th with the annual SND Fourth of July Festival. Over the years, the day included games, raffles, an auction, sisters’ market, delicious food and most of all, the joy of meeting old friends and creating new ones.

While our traditional festival is no longer happening on the St. Joseph Heights property, the spirit behind it lives on. Although our beloved St. Joseph Heights building is gone, the Sisters of Notre Dame continue our legacy of service with the same commitment and love that have always guided our ministry.
The Heights property will remain a place of mission and purpose, stretching from the Dixie Highway to the expressway as home to Notre Dame Academy and the soon expanded St. Charles Community. Our mission to proclaim God’s goodness and provident care is expressed through our ministries in education and healthcare, social justice and outreach to young adults. The expanding work of St. Charles, an SND sponsored ministry, addressing the growing needs of senior adults in Northern Kentucky for recreation, education, affordable housing and intergenerational engagement is one example of the changing face of ministry.

Just as you so faithfully supported SND ministries through the Fourth of July Festival over the years, we invite you to honor that tradition by supporting our efforts today. Your gift, no matter the size, helps us remain responsive to the needs of tomorrow while staying true to the mission you have long supported.Empty heading
