Associates and Sisters of Notre Dame are making an impact across Southern California. The annual Nun Run was one highlight that brought together students, donors, and community partners in support of the ministries of the Sisters of Notre Dame. Save the date for our 9th annual Nun Run on February 4, 2023.

Covington, KY
On Monday, July 4, 2022, the community celebrated the 100th Sisters of Notre Dame Festival in Covington, KY. The 100th Festival was back in-person and the community shared smiles, laughs, and memories. Highlights of the 100th Festival included games, Sister Market, “Festival Through the Decades”, food, prizes, and live music. The annual Memorial Mass that honors deceased Sisters and Associates was also able to be held in person this year. It was a prayerful celebration of the SND legacy in Northern Kentucky.

Chardon, OH
The Chardon, OH region celebrated its 60th annual BBQ and Boutique this fall. Sisters, family members, former students, and community members gathered on the Notre Dame Cathedral Latin campus to enjoy food and festivities. The 61st SND Chicken BBQ & Boutique is scheduled for Sunday, September 24, 2023. Highlights in 2022 also included Justice, Peace, and Integrity of Creation service and advocacy opportunities as well as the return of in-person retreats and meetings on the SND campus.

Toledo, OH
The first SHINE Women’s Summit brought women of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds together to support, honor, inspire, nurture, and empower each other. The summit launched a community-wide movement that will continue to help women shine in Northwest Ohio and beyond. Mark your calendars now for November 2, 2023 for the 2nd Annual SHINE Women’s Summit. Another highlight was the election of Toledo Sr. Mary Ann Culpert as Superior General of the Sisters of Notre Dame worldwide.
